I can't seem to figure out how to post screenshots directly to a forum topic; I'd like to be able to post it so when people look at it, they see the picture, rather than having people have to follow the picture link to a Light-shot window to see the picture itself. This is my current method of taking/posting screenshots: 1st, I downloaded "Light Shot" ( a screenshot tool). I click the "take screenshot" button when I'm at a picture I want to get the ss from. I highlight the area of my screen I want to take the ss from. , it shows different options such as save ss, upload to social media, etc. I always click "Upload to prntscr.com", and it gives me a "link" to that ss. I then copy and paste that "link" to my posts, and post it. However, it only posts that link, it doesn't substitute the link for the actual ss. What do I need to post exactly to have the picture show up directly. to have it show up directly? (I've seen many people do it in the forums before, so I know it's possible)

Copy the image link you want to insert to the forum then insert with bb code. IE without the dots = [.img]**image link here*** [./img]

You can try uploading to Imgur, which has the BBCode for forums, such as this one. Here's how it looks when you've uploaded an image: Here's how this post looks You can use the same img tags for images taken with Lightshot. But there's one extra step in each browser that you have to do: Firefox Chrome -before you can put the link inside img tags for images taken with Lightshot.
