Cities Disappear?

I am a relative noob to the realm of atWar, and occasionally, the dots that represent cities disappear and cannot be accessed? What causes this? It only occurs during my turn.

Wouldn't you be confusing "unit dots" with "city dots", would you?

Probably he means extra cities vs regular maps. If so, RLocke, the world maps have two templates, one with extra cities (premium can select this) and one vanilla.

Just for clarification for what brian has already said, there is a normal world map anyone can access. Then for premium players, they can access a map that includes "extra cities". This map contains extra cities and if you did not know this, it may appear that they are "missing". Let us know if we didn't clarify.
