The current format allows coalitions' competitiveness to be decided not by skill, but by decision of other coalitions. I explain: as a coalition, you can only propose CWs, and it's up to them to take up on the challenge. It's understandable that coalitions may be informally boycotted, as no one wants to get in a fight that can't be won. And then that coalition will have a tough time staying competitive in the season without any games. My suggestion is to set up a more competitive league, with fixed games between the applying coalitions and by the end of the season only such games would count towards the ranking. This way, high level CLNs would be able to remain competitive and lower level ones wouldn't be "farmed" for CP. Since this league would be optional, any CLN not interested could just remain playing in the current format against other CLNs.

True this may mean Empire SRB gets to cln war again. I've been hearing no one wants to cln war them at all. Or they just have no time to cln war?

This idea is not new but I still support it. The more competitive factors the better gets AW.

I'm bumping this thread so it gets more visibility. High ranked CLNs currently can't be competitive, because 1) they get few points per CW and 2) there are few high ranked active CLNs, and that number is getting lower even.

I would certainly support league based system, but not fixed time between coalitions. Current system is "impossible" for high-rank coalitions.

I definitely support this. The CW system needs an overhaul, seasons are only winnable if you have low competency.
