Syria still has some ok places to live in, like the capital (Damascus), North-Korea isn't that bad as portrayed by western media. Neither is USA as bad as portrayed by North-Korean media :p
The other places are pretty bad to live in on average, I still think Somalia is worse then the other options.

Damascus is a fucking war zone how can it be ok? There are ok places in Syria, namely Tartus and Latakia, but Damascus? That's like saying Aleppo is ok in Syria.

I mean Balkanic countries faced war but comparing them to Somalia Syria and North Korea is too exaggerate.Countries like Croatia and Serbia are pretty normal places to live tbh if we compare to the world standars.

Damascus isn't a total warzone like Aleppo.As all Syria its destroyed but since rebels are far the city is in "peace".Btw life is still bad with 40-50% unemployment and no money.

The rebels are not far, they're in the fucking city. Infact there's an ongoing offensive there.

Not possible, homes are destroyed, then locals are banned to rebuild their communities, so they simply move to America and Europe.

Niger should be an option, it's dead bottom in the UNHDI (un human development index), which isn't a completely accurate representation of the conditions of a country, but gives you a good idea.

Niger is one of the 20 worst in my list.But it's better than Congo, Somalia and Central African Republic.The HDI is important for judging but there are more factors like liberty, wars, unemployment, economy, politic system...

Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro are.
But Bosnia(unempoyement 43%), Albania(unemployement around 20%), Self proclaimed country of Kosovo(30%), Macedonia(27%) arent.
Also there is Greek economic crisis (and 26% unemployement). There is another problem of Greece giving its airports to Germany. (as for country that lives of tourism, isn't it stupid to give airports to the other country.....)
I know some "clever player" will come and tell that unemployement rate is 15%, but, there are so poor parts of Serbia (Southeastern) that are making this percenage so high, and they are living thanks to better part of Serbia (Vojvodina/Northern Serbia), and because all the money goes in poor parts, Vojvodina is stagnating on the unemployement rate too......

Ikr.Still any balcanic country is better than the rest of this list.I think every country has problems and there is no perfect country.I hope one day countries in war right now will recover because the war destroys all.
Compare Sarajevo to Pyongyang or Mogadiscio.Or Asmara.
Eritrea has 48% of the population starving and its a dictatorship with no liberties like North Korea even with gulags like in NK.

24% is real in Bosnia, which is awful but better than 43%, but most of that is illegal, for an example, hair dresser pays and records 3 workers, but has 9 illegal, but because it would crush a lot of that illegal economy and many more families government turns blind eye
