Is it normal for games to randomly break?

I keep having games that after so many turns stop functioning in some way or another. I start to get error messages and then all of the non-capital cities and unites outside cities vanish. Sometimes the game is still technically playable otherwise (but don't bother ending your turn with units outside a capital, or they'll be deleted) but you can't REALLY do anything. The most recent time, the game wouldn't even tick the timer anymore and a new turn wouldn't start, so I couldn't do anything at all.

I've reported the bugs each time, but nothing ever seems to come of that. Eventually, I just hafta surrender and take the loss just to get it over with. Is this a common thing or is it just me?

Hey there! I think this is not a very a common problem, you should try refreshing your page or try a different browser. I personally use chrome and all works like a charm. Hope this helps!

I'm not really a fan of Chrome. I've been using Firefox but could try Opera... refreshing definitely has never helped. Neither has exiting entirely and coming back on a different day. It's just permanently dead once it's dead. Even if I end turn and try back at a different time on the next turn,

Chrome usually never breaks. however, firefox breaks every so often. when that happens, you literally have to log in to another browser and play because it won't fix even after refreshing.
