Text Message Alerts

You should be able to privately register your cell phone number on atwar and have the option of turning on cell phone notifications so that when you are PM'd, you receive text messages. Otherwise, sometimes when you're afk, you won't know when it is your turn to pick. This solution could have prevented tens of thousands of games from failing in the past. And obviously a line of code could be included which says "only allow 1 alert per 10 minutes" to go through, to prevent spamming someone's cellphone. Or some kind of alternative alert system would work, too. I NEED ALERTED WITH A DING-DING NOISE. But using the cell phone alert system would bring atwar into everyone's personal life, which would have added benefit for retention obviously

Otherwise, adding whatever side-game Dave was thinking of might be an alternative solution, but I'm not sure if it would apply during the picking phase.
