Unify two neighboring countries in the editor

To modify a map it would be useful to give the editor the possibility to unify two neighboring countries without having to delete one and modify the other.
This would be extremely useful if, as in my case, you would like to create a map where the countries are the current ones, so without the divisions of Canada, USA, Brazil, Australia, Russia and China
