Map Building

As it is right now, map creating is tough, but it's still enjoyable. However, if there was a way to be able to make the maximum of the world map larger, I think that would be cool. UN games would be a lot more insane because there would be more territorial conflicts between countries that share a border. Nukes would be an even bigger deal because they would be the only unit that could cover the whole map. I'm not a computer game engineer, but I have to imagine this would be tricky. However, if the max in game zoom was increased, the map would appear to be larger; and once you make unit range a little lower, you have a larger world. Just imagine, an ancient world game that was larger, more land to conquer, or the scenarios that could be made from a larger map would be extremely awesome. So, that's the way the cookie crumbles, I hope the game makers take this into consideration.

But in all seriousness, I would love to see a larger world map.

Anyways, this is impossible due to the engine limitation, the quality of the background of any map bigger than the original will be blurry.

I think you misunderstand... I am saying having over 45mb is a no... the servers would not take kindly to handling extremely high mb images. Why would you think I meant the opposite?
