Getting air units to attack first.

When I attack with Master of Stealth, the stealth bombers attack first, and then marines attack second, so I end up getting the city. When I use other strategies, the ground units usually attack first and the bombers go last so you don't get the city if you have no ground units left. Is there a way to make the planes attack first? Thanks.

I believe this is because the fact that the bombers have a higher defence value than the attackin ground units, hence the game engine is saving the defensive units and consuming the attacking ground units first.. and thus you may end up with just bombers left and the city unoccupied.

Strategy defines Att/Def/Crit of the units. The first units to attack will always be the ones that have higher Att value. In order to avoid the problem of not taking a city, cause no land troops survived the attack (only bombers), send in some inf and/or militia. They will be the last to attack... possibly taking the city (if you balanced well the attack force).

^ Yes but don't be silly, never combine tanks/marines with bombers nor stealth. Only use bombers to break walls, as SM, or sometimes when you can't reach something.
