I am not sure if this idea has already been created but I searched and couldn't find anything.

There should be a downvote implemented. Personally it could express both positive and negative results. It shows who disagrees while the "Upvote" shows who agrees. Instead of simply scrolling through and seeing how many people support and don't support.

For example if 20 people Upvote a certain idea or suggestion, and 40 people disagree with the idea. Theres no way to calculate how many people don't want it but only seeing who does. So initially we would only see who agrees.

Just a thought.

The above means 25 people don't have a strong opinion about it. They're simply using their bottom to sit and scroll through the forum, without ever contributing to it.
If they did have a strong opinion, they'd disagree in the comments section. However, what we often see is a display of bad manners - spamming topics, trolling e.t.c.

This has been debated before when upvote was introduced.
Please just no. If a players disagrees with a forum post then a reason(s) should be given, that reason can then be upvoted.

Support the idea because not everyone agrees and it would be nice to see who upvoted or downvoted but that could cause conflict between players.

and on a serious note the other part is just stupid,then players would simply alt farm upvotes and we wouldnt be able to tell that

ok, then only allow mods to see who upvoted what... or make it a configurable option in the website. I really want to keep my upvote in private sometimes...

what would that do? alt farming isnt against the rules ( i think),only way to stop it is to pick out which players are doing it,if we cant see it how will we know who is farming?
