Walls - how to make them and why?

I would be happy to receive some info.
Am new to game, not new to strategies.
Played two, won both with an ally.
Upgraded with 1700 SPs so far.

And,
what is the use of helicopters? They are more expensive then bombers and only better stat is ARB (What is arb anyway?)

Helicopters get a bonus vs infantry (actually infantry get their defence weakened vs them). To make any kind of wall visualize the shape you want and drag land or sea non stealth units on its edges.

What do you mean drag?
I have to select 1 unit and position it, then another from city then move it away - do es that work? do they connect that way?

what does it do with statistics?

And is it pssible to be faster in creating a wall? (I ment keyboard shortcut or something)

There is no shortcut, you move a unit (dragging it or manually selecting it) as you would normally move, then you place the other unit near it and it creates a wall. Place the other unit in the position youl ike to make a wall you like.

Is tehre a way to see only air or naval units, or only tanks, or general on the map?
I sometimes loose them among others.

No, none of that can be done.

First question: nope, but it wouldn't be a terrible idea.

Second question: you don't need to move the slider, just click at the end of it.
For selecting just one unit type, just mouseover and click on the picture of, say, tanks.

Maybe one of us should post step by step screen shots on how to make them?

It would be helpfull.
as well as suggestion for map filters for developer.

I found it strange that one cant set up shorter times for turns in casual mode - like 6 hours etc...
