Do you have the next great idea for Afterwind? Are you thinking of posting it here? Did you already post it here, and find your thread locked? Well chances are someone else had the same idea before and it has already been addressed.


Automated unit movement and Rally Points - I want to be able to send my units out quickly, etc. etc.

Custom or Changing County Borders on maps - It would be really cool if there was a map of world war 2, harry potter, etc....
Sorry, this takes too much time to implement, so probably not going to happen anytime soon. However, we may add different groupings of countries in the current maps. http://afterwind.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=204&board_page=5. Also, there are scenarios, where you can rename countries, etc but not edit their borders Implemented!

New unit ideas - Ok, so its like a tank, but....

Don't be discouraged. If you have a good idea that hasn't been posted already, post it. A lot of game features originated as player ideas: Guerrilla Warfare strategy, subs having transport capacity for marines, the Generals unit, the in game "friend list," and so on. We appreciate your suggestions even if they don't make it in ultimately!

Nice post could you start the tedius task of linking these ideas under catagories so any new stuff is easy for people to see if its been posted and adressed?

The idea for custom units I posted about already. And they did implement the idea of having each player being able to recruit only their units, and they did implement it.

So in other words, remove this from that list: "Custom Units in Scenarios - Give different sides different units!

Game options should not be allowed to be changed once the game has started. That is a topic that needs to be addressed. Whether your the host or a player. This needs to be reviewed, altered, and implemented. Whether I am the host of a game or a player there is nothing more irritating during a game then getting spammed with game option changes. And why? Why is it even allowed? Is it not cheating to change the rules in the middle of a game? I realize that players, including Mods. don't bother to always follow the Atwar rules, or treat people with respect or even speak politely to each other in open chats, and yes I have seen Mods. do all the above. But when a host sets parameters for a game, why are people allowed to screw the game over by changing the options? It's truly absurd. What other game in the world is there, where the rules change on the whim of a player during the game? Between that and the lack of civility in the open chats, and the lack of Mods. doing anything about such profane, and vulgar language or behavior, this game is being trashed. A pity, I really like this game.
