Latejoining

Well, lately i hosted a game, i just changed some options, extra cities, europe+ usw...
and then it started, i killed someone and was in an really 1 vs 1ish fight, then we fought to the limit, and i was winning, took berlin, walled it, nailed it!
but one turn before i captured berlin, someone joined as spain and took rome while i took berlin.
and then...berlin dead, but i died as i had nearly no units in Turkey and the guy latejoinig just got 60 units right there...

that was terrible, even more as i just forgot to make the 'allow joining until turn button' 0, i had it in mind when he took ankara and i had it in mind when i lost....

soo, i think if the 'allow joining until turn button' would be 0 by standart, way less people would accidently play with it and there would be less extremely annoying latejoins, (aka. Iceland beats UK turn 29)...just an idea i had after loosing

But if it gets changed now, it will produce a misunderstanding among the ones who never keep it to 0. I think there are more player who never change it to 0. Specially the players in the beginners room. So, I am sorry to say that no support for it.

The turn default is at 10, so no one would be able to join on turn 29 assuming one did chance it. But there is a problem here, and I know the feeling, so I support.

No support. Having a few turns to join later as default makes it so you can start a game without worrying about having it filled at turn 1.

If you aren't reading the settings of the game you set up before you start, that is your own fault.

+1 to OP.

No reason why somebody on turn 3 should be able to join next to somebody's capital and get 90 units to rape it with.
