People vote like I do this turn. For the rest of the mid-republic, my faction will be nominated and voted rome consul, if my faction can't be rome consul that turn due to no reelection - my faction shall be nominated and voted as censor and given two concessions in that turn in which my faction is censor. If my faction can't be censor or there is not enough concessions, my faction shall be automatically appointed /nominated dictator for that turn unless there is both 4 or more active wars and my senator is an elder/has less than 3 military skill. If dictatorship isn't doable either - if none of the above happens - extend the honor deal +1 turn after the end of the mid-republic. Turns of the deal accomulate. Also for the duration of this deal (mid republic + agreggate) i can't be sent to provinces without my consent. I donate all my money both in hand and in bank to Rome if zephy accepts this deal.

Here, the advantage of the legion became clear, they attacked before the phalanx could form properly and very quickly the romans begin to rout their foes. Burn all equites. If the combined equite roll is 5 or higher - Persuade Carbo. If lower than 5, go for Claudius. If Claudius is taken and roll is lower than 5, persuade Junius. If roll is 5 or higher but Carbo is taken, persuade Claudius and Junius in that order. If all 3 are taken roll for Acilius. Pull all equite money into persuasion. If somehow i roll higher than a 6 - donate the surplus to rome.

23.07.2019 - 21:18 Battle of Venusia Tertius Fabius & Gaius Julius (11 legion +3 veterans+ 8 command +1 reform)=26 strength Lucius Aemilius Paullus & Agrippa Furius Macrobius (3 legions +7 veterans+ 8 command +1 reform)=26 strength Battle Roll: 14+3 then 11-3 Result: Victory Paullus, eager for battle found the large Senate army first and launched sudden attack before the more green soldiers could wheel into formation. Led by Furius this nearly broke the Senate line if not for Gaius Julius bringing in reserves. Seeing Julius opposing the rebels also hurt morale. After a period of brutal fighting they fell back. The next day Paullus marched his army out of his camp again and drew up his battle lines behind a ravine, he hoped to entice Fabius to try and encircle his position with his larger army while he kept Furius with his most elite forces that would punch a hole through such an encirclement. A storm then broke out and it rained for the better part of the day, Paullus finally decided that there was not going to be a battle and marched his army back to camp. On seeing his enemy march off Julius advised Fabius to order his men to attack directly across the ravine. At the same time the wind began to shifted and the rain was driven into the Rebels faces as they turned in to meet the charge. Julius and Fabius' seizure of the initiative was a decisive move, their greater numbers overcame their adversaries by attrition and surprise. Paullus seeing his line falter looked towards the raining sky and whispered "In absentia lucis, Tenebrae vincunt", unsheathed his sword and fell upon it. Roman Casualties 5 Legions Legio Populare Rebel Casualties Lucius Aemilius Paullus 2 Legions Legio X Triumphalis Legio XIII Vulpus Legio II Victrix Legio IX Classicus Tertius Fabius gains 12 influence and 10 popularity Tertius Fabius gains 2 veteran legions, Legio Martia, Legio Populare, +2 more legions if given land Romans love victory -1 unrest Effects for the Rebels Battle of Osca Decimus Flaminius Pisentus (Direct Charge) Tactical Counter (2 provincial legions +1 legion+ + 7 auxila+ 4 command +1 reform)=15 strength Attio (Flanking) 8 armies =8 strength Battle Roll: 7+7+3=17 Result: Victory Launching raids all over the border, Decimus finds a flanking force of Vascones and follows them quietly for some time. As they ransacked nearby villages he held his forces still in reserve and waited patiently for the barbarians to eventually start making their way back home laden with loot and struck with such ferocity he scattered their forces in a quick battle. Roman Casualties 2 hispanic auxilliaries Celtiberian Casualties Heavy Decimus Flaminius Pisentus gains 4 influence and 4 popularity for victory Decimus Flaminius Pisentus gains a veteran legion, Legio Hispana Battle of Segobriga Decimus Flaminius Pisentus (Flanking) (2 provincial legions +1 veteran+ 5 auxila+4 command+ 1 reform)=14 strength Viriathus (Surprise Attack) 8+5 armies =13 strength Battle Roll: 6 Result: Disaster In a cunning ruse, Viriathus tasked some of his bravest men willing to martyr their lives to attack the roman camp, fight and then surrender to the romans. Naturally, Flaminius pressed them for information and eventually turned to torture. Under duress these men "revealed" that Viriathus was going to launch a surprise attack upon Flaminius at night down the nearby valley. The Romans put them to death and prepared to ambush the ambushers, but they were in fact the ones who were ambushed as the tortured men did exactly what Viriathus commanded. Surrounded, Flaminius abandoned his spanish allies with his romans and fled to Rome. Viriathus then slaughtered the rest, without pity, a stark message to the inhabitants that collaboration with the roman occupiers would not be tolerated. Roman Casualties 5 hispanic auxilliaries Lusitani Casualties Few Viriathus conquers Nearer Spain and loots it to undeveloped, gaining 1 army
