For those who don't get the message, I made this as response to the comments in my last thread which remained unanswered and deserved a response.

Before I start i'd like to say thank you to the person who locked my thread before I could even explain or deffend myself. Looks like those threads get locked most of the times to 'win' an arguement and patt yourself on the back afterwards with no reaction from the other person. Really classy way to discuss.
This is exactly the point I am talking about in this thread.
Google Chrome, I have no idea why you even bring up my history (Global abuses), exaggerating its big, when its abuses of all the years that I played this game, a total of 5/6 years. In my opinion considering the fact that I played this game 5/6 years and its only that, is really not that much in my opinion for you to go all HAM at me with ur unproportional amount of mutes. Sure, I own up to my abuses, but c'mon bro, you've muted me on roomchat for 1 month for 1 global abuse like 'hi or ho', which happens atleast 50 times a day on global or helpchat or whatever. Not to mention you muted me for straight 2 months in a row now, when I got unmuted while I was already muted for almost a month because the mute wasn't really in proportion with the 'abuse', you muted for another month when I wasn't even online for a week or something with the excuse that I am a 'serial abuser' and I shouldn't be unmuted.
So cut the crap and stop acting like I am the only one abusing the global channel here.
I doubt you'd do that to everyone who's abusing the global channel once in a while, search up their name through the system to find a loophole to justify another mute. The way you are commenting in this thread, when it had nothing to do with you or my mute history, it didn't mention your name, global abuse, or me being muted, just shows the kind of personal shit you have with me. Not to mention that you've said yourself that you take whatever personal shit you deal with in rl out on me. This has happened before, when you've muted me for another unproportional amount of time, and im pretty sure more will follow while ur still a mod.
I mean I know you like to have authority powers and acting like some internet-cop, but lets not have a say about my credibility, if the only thing you know of me is the shit youve seen in the modforums or spoken to me like 3 times. Because you barely know me.
So therefore you have no reason to rant like this and close my thread with a message like this. My thread was a legit question about a serious problem within this game. So stop seeing yourself as some prophet or anything holly that when we mention the word mod, that we should be silenced and maintained, because unlike most of the mods in this game, you come and visit threads and lock them just because YOU personaly, dont like them.
That is the point I am talking about in this thread.
So next time you want to have a parade at my thread, atleast stay on-topic and stop trying to cause a feud between us and locking my threads with off-topic bullshit, because I am not interested into this macho/alpha behaviour from some authority-seeker.
If you want to discuss about my mute, you're free to message or pr me, but we both know that you won't do that, don't we.
So therefore I ask to unlock my thread.

I agree with you. However as Ivan/Amok said before, we're still in the same problem as "who watches the watchers". I'm sure they would like to handle this type of issues by themselves, if they had time - who can be better representative of the game, other than the creators, anyway? But in a near future, I sure do hope to see something like this implemented.

So you know, this is basically what admin does, and why we have a mod forum, so they can see discussions of the issue. Mods tend to have widely varying views of what should be done in a given situation. Reaching consensus only occurs in the most straightforward of cases... Wrongful accusations is relatively rare. In the last year i can only think of one case where a player has genuinely expressed this has happened. Often a player will disagree with a punishment (saying it's too harsh), and sometimes a mod does make a poor decision and later corrects it... also, there are cases where a player views a mod reaction as 'wrong' but three months later they message back and say "yeah, i know i was in the wrong, but i was angry and just didn't want to get banned'. This happens regularly and mods just have to accept and deal with it. But if you know of any legitimate wrongful accusations, i'd be open to discussing these privately first, and then if the player agrees, i'dbe okay to open up the discussion further. Generally, players who claim they have been wrongfully accused are just putting on a show, perhaps to save face, perhaps to draw attention to themselves, perhaps just to lash out. But as i said, i'm happy to discuss with you if you know of any wrongful actions by mods ♥

But you and I both know the admins have not been doing that oversight, they themselves have admitted to there negligence do to time constrants. A dedicated player base willing to work for free is a very lightly tapped resource they have at there disposal. Iv personally been victim to Googles bias, but I rather not bring up the past. But going to other mods yielded no results only when I got ivan or sun involved was there any progress. The issue is sun is gone and the other admins are busy, we need some form of over sight, because there is indeed bias.

I try to make a distinction between a 'wrongful accusation' and 'overly harsh mod reaction'... I don't know of too many players who get muted and say 'oh thanks, that was the perfect amount of time to be muted, and the correct chat'... mods often don't agree on this themselves as there are many factors to take into account, such as history, attitude, intent, chance of recurrence, etc. and each mod weighs these factors according to their views.

But here is the thing, if it was waffel and loachra and there battles on global (secret love affair I will explain in clovis x loachra prt 2) the punishment at most would of been a couple hour global mute. But because trystane can be a huge cunt, iv experienced this, loachra gave him the full power of a mod mute.

Agree, as you know this topic has the attention of the active mods (looking at the users.) What would you suggest? Are you suggesting a group of players to whom someone would 'appeal' ? Who would you suggest? Would this be open for every mod action? (I ask this because if every mute was appealed, we'd never have time for it.) But for perma bans or mutes over 3 months perhaps, it may be something to consider? More details plz...

See that is the real issue, I could name ten good people for the job, but since the mods lebeled them renegades by this point they are null. We really more then anything need an admin who was active like sun tzu who could look into these things. But yes by the standards mods have set, and by this time in the games life cycle, many players who would do a great job at such a task are already lebeled poorly from prior actions.

Nothing will happen, you and I both know this. This is an attempt to reduce unrest. Same things the police do after brutally murdering someone for no reason. Just to use your own analogy, come to think of it isn't police bias the reason millions of Americans have been protesting for?

What we need is a new admin who has been apart of the community, who's primary goal is to protect the community from itself, and those in the moderator team who have grown to enjoy using there powers in a bias manor while protecting there friends. Then said admin could create a group of supporters to help him find these abuses.

I'm sure i'm creating more unrest by discussing this ♥ But seriously, i am not so convinced nothing will happen. You can't just throw up your hands and say 'no point so don't even try' - i'm offering to do the legwork, but i need an actual proposal of what it will look like from the player base.. it's pointless for a mod to create an 'appeal process' and pick the people... send me 10 names.

And I'll be honest with you now, I have been disconnected from the player base, and many of the people I knew no longer play or are severely inactive, I wish I could help with that, at this point, but the fact is I simply don't know at this point. If you asked me even a year ago I'd of given you three list but sadly decent people on this game are shrinking every month.

Also just make more supporters they may help....Also ask them before you judge....Anyway from small mutes like 1 week the mod can do it without asking i think but make some rules like no clan/private chat mute allowed.

I'm just curious. i dont know what u did to get banned for 36 million minutes but it must have been terrible. so i dont get into trouble and get banned for 48 months what is abuse of the global channel? is that like when i was in the beginners room and people discuss their views of negroes,jews and muslims and nothing happens to them. (i miss the beginners room there were so many fun thought provoking conversations there) or are you trying to sell drugs or giving links to porno sites? certainly u werent advertising your yard sale for that weekend. i dont really pay attention to the chat window much. i just like to play my game. i apologize for missing what u were doing that was so wrong, but it might have been fun to see. i would say that free speech should be celebrated and promoted. who cares what this dude is doing. i turn help and global off when i am playing anyway. but maybe i should turn it back on. is that where main room players go to get retarded like the beginners in the help window?

What iam going to say doesn't mean I support you waffle but its just my point of view I mean according to rules , only game links should be posted on global chat this make 90% of atwar active players abusing the global daily , I mean come on its " global chat " something u want to say to other players but it might not be a game link , what is considered "abuse" is one of the most enjoyable things at using global chat , if you are ,annoyed just turn it off. rules were made by players and it still can be changed by the players the game founders doesnt really care about whats going on inside the game , why we don't just make a poll about this thing ?
