Notification for PM

Hi just a quick suggestion. why not add a sound effect, like a bird chirp or ding sound when some one pms us, incase you are on different page. would alert people right away doing other things, i think most of us have multiple tabs open and miss many pms due to the silence of them. i think this is a great idea what you guys think and would it be possible??

I think having the tab display a message when u receive a message is far better. We already have this for when a new turn starts so why not for when u receive a PM.

i like this, would perhaps generate a bit more cash for atwar and allow players to personalize there profile 1 step further with a sound they like.

Nope you already have a notification when message comes. So no support.

No support, the game sometimes lags a bit and sounds, first, will make it lag more. Secondly, a bad connection will delay the sound and the message, which means that sounds will be useless.

A pm tab pop-up or flash is better.

And btw, imagine someone opening atWar, waiting for something while hearing music loudly while some people are messaging him.. just imagine these spam sounds combined. This is not a full screen game, it's a browser-based game which means others will surely be bothered by silly sounds.

notification?? i have none except for the yellow text,you gota be staring directly at the screen and have the atwar tab currently open to see it. 70% of players that are AFK are probly in other tabs or 2 feet from the computer but have no idea some one is PM them.. countless times i miss pms becuase i am up doing some an ear shout away and didnt hear that i got a message its very annoying and i know for a fact many others miss pms all the time due to this problem

Maybe if an inbox was reachable from in a game rather than opening a new tab, sound optional ofc
