Firstly, I am defining 'strategy resources' as something which aims to make a player improve at the game, learning a new style but not something that tells you how to actually play the game at a base level. An example of what I mean by a strategy resource would be one of TopHat's guides. It has many benefits, such as helping lower rank players to be more competitive and would allow a generally stronger base level of play. On the other hand, one could argue that a lack of available guides is what keeps the game fresh and new, increasing variance in what we come across because no one play style has been adopted by a large number of players yet.

I guess so, but it would be better in the form of a fansite or wiki (one already exists, but it sucks because Gardevoir used to run it and has disappeared now) because everyone can see it this way, not just people like me deeply involved with the community.

That is correct. and it includes Gardevoir's well-known faggotry with roleplaying coalitions as "states" and all that jazz.

Good point ShoreVictory. I will try to work on a 'Tips and tricks guide'. If you want a 'starting guide' there is already enough information in the tutorial or the FAQ (like, how to create a game and so on), but there isn't enough information about walls, units, strategies, reporting, and so on. I will try to work on this one....

I don't know if it is really needed, though it may be nice. Everything I know I learned by simply playing. The more games you play the more game aspects you pick up on.

As a pretty new player (I've been playing for a couple months, bout to hit rank 5) this is one of those games that is easy to learn, difficult to master. After getting my teeth kicked in a few dozen times, I've learned the hard way things like walls, turnblocking, etc. The thing I didn't realize until I came here was how to play different strategies. I had been playing GC mostly, just spamming tanks. Now I've switched to using PD with lots of walls and waves of infantry, and having much more fun.

I love teh faggotry <3 (I edited most of that out, if there's any I missed, please tell), i'd love to work on the wiki, but nobody was ever interested to begin with, that was it's main problem. I'll probably end up making an RP subsection btw, love that shit. I will be adding pages and guides on there whenever I can from now on, so check it sometimes.
