Html 5 killed atwar

Its funny how we all wanted html5. But when think about html5 it killed the game. Ever sense this game moved to its been downhill.

Silverlight was a dead platform we wouldnt have any new players at all with silverlight because people wouldnt be bothered to figure out how to set up a browser that still supports it.

I expected more improovments with html5....sameall of us.But in the end we got just all we had at silverlight.But yes i have to agree.Many left AW when the change happend including me.

but i am happy with html5, work need to be done to save the game, but its not dead, rather on its way to death.

I never understood why they didn't utilize IEtab open source and just release a chrome extension to continue supporting silverlight, which is still the superior version.

Or just drop browsers all together and focus on the client like a normal dev.

There's a host of capable programmers dedicated solely to engine and language optimisation when transferring platforms on LinkedIn ready to be hired. I think two years is a long enough wait for these changes to have occurred and be stable enough to not require a test version for essential areas of the game you're still charging money to access.

Why we changed to html5 when it cleary wasnt ready and hadnt all Silveright features.It isnt like Html5 brought to AW ton of new players.
