Should smoking be illegal?

There is a huge problem with it - restricting free choice. Also cuttinf workplaces. However we can not deny the cigs industry is very evil. They take advantage of humans fear since they are young, getting them addicted at any cost. Taking away so much money from them and give cancer in return.

As you saw with probation (The United States of America outlawing alcohol) People will just get it illegally to fuel their addiction, and plus their are alternative things to smoke just as their is alternative alcohol. Also this will never happen as the industry makes money and rich people aren't going to let it slide.

The way to enforce this kind of thing is through education, not laws. The only drugs that should be illegal are the ones that make you cause damage to others.

People are generally free to put whatever toxins they want in their body... having someone else make the decision stunts social and cognitive development, so conscious development is halted. (Exception for SP police members: NOT smoking cancer sticks is illegal. ♥)
