New upgrades too unfair for non-premiums?

Considering all the raging going on in the News forum and other ones too, thought I'd hold a poll and see how everyone feels

I'm not crying lol. I'd be the one who doesn't particularly care either way. It just makes my decision of which upgrade to buy next much harder

these upgrade could help with at-war revenue, like if you don't have enough sp you can rent it with protocoin.

Its not unfair, +1 reinforcement won't really make any difference outside of competitive play, and most competitive players are already premium.

So maybe steps should be taken to encourage games where upgrades are disabled, removing the General advantage...highly unlikely to ever happen though lol

the only way to boost competitive play is by breaking big clans into small ones. Competitive clans should not have more than 20 members.

Yes. Its unfair to non-premiums(Pay&Win)

New upgrades improve and expand on the game and encourage veterans to stick around... Gives new life to the game.

If non premiums cry about generals they can buy premium.

What I'd like to see next are new strategies and maybe some special upgrades that can be turned on or off before game start.

But overall this is a huge step in the right direction and I fucking love the upgrades

In addition, I saw comments about people saying that the competitive scene is fading because the premium players are too OP with their upgrades. This statement sounds odd to me because I've never been premium and when I played more of the competitive games, I had no trouble beating premiums in 2v2s and 3v3s. If you think you're losing because you don't have the general, you're probably mistaking that with your lack of skill.

Lol.. there were always upgrades for generals even better then these. And i dont get it if u really like playing this game (and probably most of you are not grown ups) go sell ice creams, visit cousins more often , etc. And buy yourself this premium when it gets discounted

This game is becoming pay to win,but all games are either freemium,pay to win or pay to play

I think you should just say thanks to the creators of the game for being able to play it for free at all.
most good games are pay to play.
and if you decide to get competitive just suck it up and buy premium, just like all competitive players do...

Beating prem doesn't mean you can say that premium isn't op. It's important for the playing field to be as level as possible for players to compete as a low rank before they decide to buy prem, especially considering the average rank has risen a lot.

Looking at all these posts. what i gather is that the high ranked players are not into newer players catching up to them. people who play this game casually as opposed to professionally, have to pay to win as its said. a casual player who likes the game game and can only play when has some free time is not coming back. it will take them 8 years to get anywhere, as opposed to the fellows that play all day everyday cause they have no jobs or nothing else to do, and can buy upgrades all day long. the game will never grow without player retention. the rank 12's will get bored too.

If this was some other game, you'd have had a limit on how many games you can play, units HP would be regenerated with protocoins and such pay2play stuff. This game is pretty free as non premiums can do almost anything. There are often tournaments, premium giveaways, discounts. In the worst case, you can just stack protocoins and buy premium one day.

Actually longer walls are going to make a difference in scenarios. Scenarios undeniably contain much walling. Also, these updates make it harder to wf with 1 unit, and scenarios contain a lot of wf aswell.
