What is your favorite unit?

Transports are the shit, can strike almost anywhere without having them expect it and without having to use marines.

Tanks. Massive stacks of steel behemoths conquering everything in a swift offensive.

I like battleships.
Mostly because once I make them, I just annoy my opponents for ages by removing all their coastal cities.

Tanks are rather weak, if you have good stacks of bombers. I prefer battleships because they are great for harrasing. However recently i've seen bombers+airtransport+tank as the most effective strategy.

I use all units for there purpose i don't spam a unit.(sometimes i do if it a spamming war.)but i like getting missiles there useful.

I use tanks. Russia commands me to build more tanks.

Stealth

So much necro ITT. Also, my favourites are obviously Destroyers which you may have gathered if you've ever played with me/seen my profile.

Sea transports, they can cap on cities with 0 units or beat 1 militia. +HP upgrade on them with IF for transports is glorious.

Errr, can they cap empty cities?

Stealth are fun when you have alot of money, just for emptying enemies citys and harassing them. but overall i use tanks. as a blitz user i am an offensive person, the -2 defence is a handicap so i make up for it by dominating the map (sometimes) and attacking more than defending. and tanks are good for attacking. tanks for me

You can never beat marines. Especially with guerrilla which is what I use. Still saven' for Great Combinator though

Tanks are so stupid except in Great Combinator. I almost always have small anti-ambush units that can destroy tanks quickly and swiftly with turnblocks. In Great Combinator, which I use in Europe 5k games, the tank is the best for a fast and cheap expansion. Large maps, especially, the tank is even worse in long-distance combat. Marines, I use in EVERY single strategy, simply because they have no hinderances to make up for the strategy advantages. Tanks are affected a lot. Not only that, marines have upgrades. In Sky Menace, I take the good countries very quickly and use marines to sweep up the remaining cities I skipped... the most battles I had this way was 18 battles, and I can take all of Europe in under 8 weeks... that is, in a large map 25k or 50k game. Marines are amazing with the Faster Marines upgrade because they can now work almost as effectively as tanks, not to mention they know to leave stealths to do their job until they run out. Tanks are basically the first units to run out during an attack. Infantry, militia, and anti-aircraft also let the bombers and stealths do their job, then decrease in numbers.

Tanks are silly. Best unit is without a doubt marines.

Is it mo or bombers are underated they are the perfect unit 6/6 a/d and with SM its 8/6 which makes bombers dominante unit a cuople of bombers with a transport and an infantry you can advance farther than with blitz so bombers all the way

Why do so many people pick tanks? I've destroyed more noob tanks than any other noob unit! When I take on a med-rank player, I end up destroying a bunch of bombers, not tanks. Tanks are weak in large map games, and they're only good for small maps. Additionally, tank general sucks. Why? Because it reduces defense, but it doesn't increase movement on any unit. That makes the units easy to attack.

I can just spam bombers and marines to destroy any unit I want. I occasionally use submarines to carry marines or attack some med-sized stacks. I must say marines are better than bombers because they can stage surprise attacks, and they can go cheaper than the bombers when using the right strategies.

Transports are best unit!!!
