Low Rank Tournament

I believe us low ranks should get tournaments too, not just the high ranks like Tophats and Tesla and Anon. So, if anyone wants to join, post it here. This is for ranks 0-4 ONLY! I can make a bracket, and I would like to know if I can get a trophy made. Thanks!

If you're planning on using the usual rules - Eu+ 10k extra cities then this can only be made with someone who is premium.

I somehow doubt that enough rank 4's and under will have premium to allow at least 1 player to be premium in every match.

If you ask a moderator, then most of them will be more than happy to assist you in making sure all tournament games get played to the proper rules even if they have to make the game themselves.

Support. Although I believe you should bump it up to rank 6 or at least rank 5. I can also help with hosting games and organizing.

The tournament will most likely get ruined by alt accounts.

probably, maybe the higher ranks can identify some alts they know, i know gaara is an alt for example.

Mods will be more then happy to make sure no alts of a higher rank join. Just ask Spart, Safari. Those guys will be more then happy to make sure that no nonsense happens.

Yes, but many low ranks don't even know about alts. I guess the tournament thread could include a warning about alts for them.

Also, many participants might actually become mid-ranks in the course of playing tourney matches. Especially those that make it to the end. After all, it doesn't take many games to get to rank 5. BTW, Tactician, you're no longer eligible

Oh and this would be one tournament in which TopHats wouldn't be #1...

Ok. Not saying that but rank 2s vs 3s wont be good at all. They barely grasped the concept.

I cap rank 7's easy, most, except Mr_own_u of course, some are pro's some aren't, maybe 0-6?

The problem with separating ranks for tourneys is that there are noobs and pros hidden away in each rank 8 and under. Wouldn't be a problem if everybody would stop farming in scenarios and if players would actually challenge themselves and fight stronger players.

Tac and wind would dominate in this tourney (rank 4 and 5 players) even though it's for ranks 5 and under because they're always playing 3v3 and 1v1 in EU+ 100 cities with ranks 6+. I'd be down for a tourney to fight ranks 6+. I don't want a handicap for me when I play in a tourney. So lets get the junior tourney going and someone start a tourney for ranks 6+.

Ok, who's going to host this thing? i suggest a mod or someone with experience in hosting tourneys, and what are going to be the final rank limitations? even if i can't play i want to support the tournament

If you want my opinion 0-4 is not really a good choice because most people in these ranks still learning the basics.I would suggest 4-6 or 4-7.Although with 7 we have zerouno and mrwonyou hm hm
One of you have to step up and create the whole thing though you cant expect everything from the mods.Copy the way tesla makes his tournaments and do something like that.His pure king tournament is a great system cause even if u loose one match ,you can get back to the top from the lower bracket.Settings could be europe+ extra cities 4 minutes.For those who dont know there is a way to practise the extra cities map alone without having premium.Pm me and ill show you how.
But usually the problem with these tournaments especially with low ranks who arent that commited is to get people to play their matches soon.

Yes. Like I said, Low ranks rank up too quickly anyway so making a 0-4 tourney wouldn't work.
