I didn't even criticize you, it's a no brainer that things were different back then than they are now, for example even turnblocks worked differently as well as that fucking flower power thing. I don't think you understood what I said, I literally said you are better than players from the past but i don't know how you would be if you played back then. Without jumping on the meme trend even strategies were different before nerfs or after buffs. I don't deny that you're not a good player, i just simply state how things could have been different back in 2013 or before hand, and I actually have registered accounts before this one but i simply played on this one more eventually making it my main so I see no point in switching back.

Each of the old leading players was good at their time. If they'd continued to play, they could've probably compete for this title, because they would adapt and discover new things in today's meta as they did in the old meta. Having said that. It's not easy to determine who is the best player ever in this game because it's a close match between today's leading players like 4nic, clovis, witch doctor, laochra, grom, eagle, each of them can be a worthy opponent for the other. But in my opinion, considering their win rate against the others and their high activity in the game, I'd say the title is between 4nic and witch doctor.

What about best team of all time for 3v3? Can be any Era or multiple considering the stark meta changes between 2010, 2011 - 2012, 2013 - 2016, 2017 - Present.

In terms of consistent wins and the expedience of them, I'd bet on Ironail/Aristosseur/Cacao for 2011 - 2012. 2010 was obv the classic Sificvoid/Gigglin/Zizou latejoin allyfag squad. Don't know about other eras though. What would you guys think?

Fair enough. I don't think you can get the most skilled player from winning the most duels alone though. For example, like I said Tophats and Goblin were two of the greatest duelists I've ever seen, but basically trash in a team game. Needing an ally I'd take a pretty objectively lower tier Khaleesi or Dbacks over them any day. IMO the most skilled players join dueling skills with team play: including the ability to read a game, assess where your allies are, serve the team function you're needed for, and convert bad situations into wins for your clan.

Going by that standard, there is an entire different pool of people you could draw the "best" player from. Prometheus had a high elo peak and he was brutal in cw's. Perhaps Desu was one of the best players. At the end of the day, it's probably Zizou though.

I think 4nic and witch are what goblin and tophats were in the old days. Top of the cream solo players, however as already said there are more to being an all around best i think.

My 3 spots for players dominating in all aspects of the game, consistently throughout many many years and seasons, would be Mauzer Aqui and Lao in my opinion. Offcourse there are other amazing players but this would be my top 3.

If i had to pick one it would be Lao. Theres something about this kid (2 meters tall kid hehe) and his analytical brain that seems like it is made for strategy. If he applies the same energy, tactical thinking and brainpower to his real life like he did for this godforsaken game, it wont be long till he rules the world.
