I know that, but most of you still listen to them or their outlets. I agree that some parts of the middle east has stopped evolving, I'm in one. How is that Islam's fault though? Islam encourages knowledge and evolving. It's said that God created us for two reasons: to worship him and to 'build' or 'construct' the earth. idk the exact translation but you get what I mean. Therefore its going against Islam to not evolve. Which ties back again to Muslims who follow shari'aa dutifully and the ones who oh-so disgustingly seek personal gain. I can tell you its because of these people Egypt isn't growing as a nation. We were prospering in the times of monarchy and before, and then came Gamal Abd ElNasser who lost us the war against Israel, and lost us the strong economy we had. When Hosny Mubarak came (the prez who got protested out of office in 25th of january revolution) he stole so much from Egypt and blocked so much progression that we declined so much as a country. It wasn't bad in his time, with some establishments covering up his theft, but when he stepped out of office it got even worse with Morsi the Muslim Brotherhood president who is one of those guys using Islam to serve his agenda. Egypt's example is in so many country because some despicable people ended up on the top of the food chain. Anyway, moral of the story, its not Islam's fault. Also, may I know why you don't like interacting with Muslims? I'm almost fully sure they wouldn't be followed shari'aa dutifully.

Because this religion is keeping you and your people prisoners. You said yourself how importand to you is tradition and customs. Until that mentality is broken your people will never be able to think for themselves. I dont want to make a long post, the main word here is secularism. Until this word is introduced to muslims there is no way forward. Because the teachings of Islam have been integrated in your culture, your laws, your ethics, your morals, the way you think. Can a journalist or a politician openly express himself in Muslim countries without threat of jail and death? Can a muslim openly convert to Christianity without threat for his life? Can an artist make satire of religion without becoming headless? Can a kid be gay without being tortured and killed? Can a female enjoy the same rights and privileges as a male? Can muslims in Western countries stop chasing with axes and killing in the streets, journalists who made satire of their religion? Until these and other questions like these are answered with a yes, i will keep fighting islam. Until i see another (only one so far) muslim get a nobel prize award in sciences or muslims hit the streets to protest for better education and not to hang another homo, i will keep fighting islam. until i stop seeing a grown ass man dropping to his fucking knees 5 times a day, bowing and praying to someone that someone mentioned in an old book..you get my point. I want to see your people the "peacefull" muslims break free of the shackles, start being tolerant towards your own people and then to others, progress and thrive. i really wish it. until then i dont trust, sorry.

edit: just so you know, one of my best real life buds is palestinian. he has integrated perfectly and is very succesfull and happy here. Guess what..he is not muslim. we judge together christians and muslims alike.

I studied theology and i've read Quran, so you cant call me anti-islam, and therefore let me just say that Quran says to spread peace and support humanian aid, give charity, but also encourage Muslims to fight non-Muslims and spread religion. That part can be considered violent.

Some of your questions is a skewed perspective, some of your questions is already a yes, some of your questions are represented by Muslims who don't follow Islam dutifully, and some of your questions are based on your views. Again, They're not following Shar'iaa dutifully. @first Q: That's because the leaders aren't fair and don't follow Islam correctly, and now its starting to change. People say whatever they want on the media. @2nd Q: Yes. Of course people concerned about him will advise him not to but any threat to life is absurd. If you mention the Austrians who consistently got their ass kicked by the Turks, you should probably mention the fucking greeks

austrians were pretty much patrons for croats,and croats lost only 3 big battles (krbava,mohacs (with hungarians and others) and sziget (battle is a loss but ottomans lost loads of men and time),sisak,jajce,sinj..... are all wins for croats and austrians

yes, i'm not an expert of anything, and don't know these exact lines and which Surah they came from, but again perspective perspective perspective. There were times were Muslims were being discriminated, persecuted, and fought. Reading the Quran you should know that and know most of this was fighting back. Can you give me any verse where it was stated go out of your way to fight irrelevant people in the name of Allah? I know Muslims are encouraged to fight against people who fight us for defense, and we should spread Allah's religion doing so.

The Abbasid empire was way stronger than the ottoman empire, because at the time of the invasions the Muslims had naval supremacy, a united Muslim population, the difference in technology was not huge, the Muslims were more fanatical than during the ottoman age, and the Byzantines had to worry about Slavic invasions in the north.

serbs have just one fucking battle with turks and you say they are the ones that kept europe safe? kosovo 1389 is their only fight and they lost it,second kosovo battle was in 1444 i think (could be a year or two off) but that was the coalition fighting (hungarians,austrians,croats,italians,albanians.....) then there was first campaign on belgrade in which hungarians and croats broke the siege and saved serbs,after that in 2nd fight for belgrade it fell.
khal look over that complexit wall that is preventing you from recognising that anybody else but greece and srbia did anything in the campaign

I agree with the sentiments that we should help these people, but realistically we cant. We already have problems with overpopulation, huge waiting lists in hospitals, for homes etc. Whats going to happen with all these refugees? Multiculturalism just does not work.

But leaving them to die is better? I understand its a big population but if those fatasses on goverments cooperate, im pretty sure we can find solution. Look at refugee camp in turkey and compare it with hungary or Greece
