Think you have what it takes to make your country the best on AtWar? Find out! The AtWar Olympics are here and feature a wide array of events that should encourage players of all kinds to step up and represent! The events were set up so that even if a country represented has only one player, that country can still participate in the majority of the events. A medal will be awarded to each member on the winning team who participated.
Bracketing:
The bracket system that we will be using for the games is http://bracketcloud.com. If you follow the Official AtWar Twitter Account, you can follow the tournament as there will be live tweets that announce the results of all games and matches. Once all the countries and participants are filled out, each country will have 2 days to submit who will be participating in each event. Once this is all completed, we will set up the brackets, and let the games begin!

Tournament Set-Up:
- All the one on one matches will begin at the same time
- Once the last one on one match is completed, the two two-on-two matches will begin and run at same time
- Finally, once completed the final three-on-three match will begin
-Following the last match, medal counts will be totaled, and a winner will be announced in general forum and awarded their medal.
General Rules of Gameplay:
- No wallfucks on turn 1 (unless player in violation agrees to not abuse)
- No entering opponents land on turn 1
- And of course have fun!
Specific Rules:
- You must play your game by the designated deadline or risk being disqualified.
- Each win should be accompanied by a screenshot as proof in the thread below.
- If you feel like you are inactive, please do not sign up for the tourney as it will only hurt its progression
*Important* => Post if you are in below and what country you choose to represent. Also, please don't lie about where you are from since that would defeat the whole purpose of this.

Set a maximum of 3 players (there aren't any 4v4s so 4 players or above is unnecessary) for each team to make it fair. All players of, say, the US team have to compete against each other to qualify for their country's atWar Olympics team. That's how it's done in real life too. Whether Round Robin or Knockout style qualifiers is upto the organizers. It would weed out the noobs and bad players, and would be more fair and effective than rank limits. It'll ensure the best players represent their countries and will reduce what is fondly called 'rankism'. There could be Rank 5-7s who aren't alts that are better than Rank 8-10s. I'm not suggesting one of them is me since I'm not even participating. Just putting this out there to keep trolls away.

anyone of any rank can sign up. the way the brackets are set up its impossible to delay games very long. So, the more countries around, the better. edit: also, I've said this before (if u read the original post in its entirety), teams will submit who they want playing in each game, so if they wanna have a small tourney, they can go for it.. its up to them
